Piedras Blancas

Paso Robles wine region is just a 20 minute drive east of Cambria, with over 50 wineries and beautiful vineyards. Wine tasting shops are also located in downtown Cambria.
Leffingwell Landing
Leffingwell Landing is located at the north end of Moonstone Beach Drive in Cambria and offers state picnic grounds. Visitors can check out tidal pools or watch the otters frolicking in the surf.
San Simeon State Park
San Simeon State Park is 2 miles north of Cambria. It is one of the oldest parks in the California State Park system with coastal bluffs and dramatic nature trails. The park includes the Santa Rosa Creek Preserve, San Simeon Natural Preserve and the Pa-nu Cultural Preserve.
Nitt Witt Ridge
Nitt Witt Ridge is a house on two and a half acres in Cambria and is located at 881 Hillcrest Drive, Cambria Pines. Artist/recluse Arthur "Art" Harold Beal (d. 1992) bought this hillside lot in 1928 and spent most of the next 50 years carving out the terraces with only a pick and shovel, creating his own "castle on a hill." Arthur Harold Beal is known as Der Tinkerpaw or Captain Nitt Witt. Beal was garbage collector for the town of Cambria in the 1940s and '50s, and made good use of what Cambrians were throwing away, as well as the natural materials on the property, in the nearby pine forests, and on the area's beaches. Some parts are also reportedly remnants from Hearst Castle where he reportedly worked for a time. Tours are available.
